With 27 years of paddling under his belt, Joe O'Blenis is the former President of the Atlantic Kayak Association, and a sponsored endurance and expedition sea kayaker.
In 2003, he made an attempt on the 24 Hour Endurance Kayaking World Record. He is currently working on a sea kayaking guidebok for New Brunswick Canada.
He has completed solo kayak tours of up to 1,000 km as well as solo cycling tours of 7,000 kms. He spent eight years as a competitive marathon canoe and kayak racer.
