The Ceyana Canoe Club was incorporated in 1978 and at times over the past twenty years has been the largest canoe club in Edmonton, though at the moment the club is in a rebuilding phase and has a membership of some 100+ paddlers.
At present, the Ceyana Canoe Club offers primarily family-oriented canoeing programs. The club offers a modest instructional program for new members, approximately two to three club trips per month, a modest seasonal social program, and maintains a storage facility for the club canoes, trailers, and associated gear in Queen Elizabeth Park in Edmonton.
