The Richmond Whitewater Club is a whitewater boating club that formed to bring together whitewater boating enthusiasts of all types: rafters, kayakers, canoeists, or anything else on/in which someone wants to ride the rapids. The purpose of Richmond Whitewater Club is to give us opportunities to increase the awareness of Richmond whitewater as well as helping others enjoy, understand, and appreciate the joy of paddling. Additionally, we also want a central place for boaters to meet for trips down the James, as well as planning trips down other exciting rivers.
Richmond Whitewater is also a social club for parties, charity functions, and conservation efforts & anything that will help us accomplish our mission. Safety guidelines set by the American Whitewater Association will be followed and enforced.
