The OAR program offers members of the Hendrix community opportunities to share adventure and learning experiences utilizing the great outdoors. Sponsored trips and clinics help people enjoy activities such as state park visits, horseback riding, rock climbing, skeet and trap shooting, and more. Camping, backpacking, and canoeing equipment is available for personal use for a small rental fee.
The Outdoor Activities & Recreation Program maintains an inventory of camping and canoeing equipment to assist and encourage individuals to "strike out on their own".
