The University of Alabama Outdoor Recreation Program is designed to allow students, faculty, and staff to participate in and learn about various outdoor activities. The program offers instruction, literature, and other valuable information in all areas of outdoor recreation. In addition, UAOR plans and coordinates trips and weekend excursions for people to get involved in outdoor activities. For convenience, UAOR provides a rental shop for those who do not have their own equipment or who want to go out on their own.
