Paddle sports on whitewater rivers and creeks can provide a unique outdoors experience and provide challenges that encourage physical and mental development, working as a group, and pure-adrenaline fun.
On the other hand, whitewater sports inherently expose participants to many risks that can result in personal injury, illness, or death, and may cause damage to equipment and personal property.
The Clemson Whitewater Club is here to help you have as much fun as possible, become aware of the risks and dangers, assist you in the development of basic whitewater skills, and expose you to the safety guidelines associated with whitewater sports.
The regular club practices are 10PM on Tuesday in the Fike Recreation Center pool. Club members regularly run river trips down the Chattooga and other rivers.
