Purpose of the Elkhorn Paddlers:
To promote the appreciation for the recreational value of wilderness canoeing, to encourage and promote navigation of wild and semi-wild rivers by canoe and kayak; to promote the conservation of such rivers by cooperation with local and national organizations whose purpose and interests are in the fields of conservation and the preservation of wilderness; to promote the safety of the sport through training and information to members; and to place the main emphasis on conservation and preservation of the North, South and Main Forks of the Elkhorn.
The Elkhorn Paddlers have members in Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina and Kentucky.
