Florida Sport Paddling Club is a statewide group of people who enjoy canoeing and kayaking. Beginners as well as experienced paddlers are welcome. We are looking for people who will lead trips as well as join them. It's an easygoing club that doesn't just talk about getting out on the water - we get up and go!
Members volunteer to lead trips, publicized in a monthly newsletter. There is something for people of all skill levels. Paddles range from a lazy afternoon jaunt to a weekend on a slow-moving subtropical river to a whitewater week in Maine, North Carolina, Arkansas or Montana. Some trips include hiking or bicycling.
